Our second and latest product, Redee Mask – the only cloth face mask that lets you drink safely without exposing your mouth, has taken the world by storm, being featured in global media outlets such as CNN and Fox News. We’re growing fast to become the go-to brand for people around the world looking to drink and live life happily, healthily, and confidently.

Our scrappy startup is looking for a dynamic Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our team on a contract basis (part-time). You’ll fit in with our small, remote team if you truly care about our mission and community, love continuous improvement, and aren’t afraid to think and act differently from the crowd.

We’re still an early-stage startup, so you’ll have the opportunity to play a vital role in shaping the personality and future success of our company. You will build and execute the content strategy and creation for all social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.), ensuring a cohesive brand voice.

A major part of this role is also leading all Influencer marketing. You will reach out and build lasting relationships with influencers to set up content, sales, and promotional partnerships.

Community management is another part of this position – making sure that we respond in a caring, timely manner to our comments and messages across all social channels (note that this is not a customer service role, so you would not have to handle any email or phone customer service inquiries).

Responsibilities:

  • Implement strategy, planning, creation, and execution of organic social media marketing posts across all accounts including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn
  • Create, maintain and execute social posting calendar with an emphasis on driving engagement and growth
  • Reach out to and create meaningful social partnerships with influencers, bloggers, and brand advocates
  • Grow and manage our community including responding to customers’ comments and messages on social channels
  • Collaborate with our Digital Marketing Manager to drive conversion through a full cycled consumer journey
  • Evaluate emerging social media tools to see how they can be incorporated into the company’s business, marketing, and public relations strategies
  • Stay aware of emerging social media opportunities
  • Content writing including blog posts, cross promotional articles, and more

Occasionally, your role will fall outside of the general “Social Media & Community Manager” scope and you may work directly with our founder/CEO on:

  • Marketing and Sales initiatives
  • Brand strategy
  • Operations

Among other things! We’re a startup, so you will have to wear different hats from time to time, providing great learning. Working directly with our founder/CEO, there is plenty of room for growth in this role!

Experience, Education, and Skills:

  • At least 1 year of experience in marketing with a focus on social – bonus if you’ve worked with a successful startup (managing their social media, influencer marketing, etc.)
  • Experience in CPG / Direct to Consumer (Health & Wellness, Beauty & Personal Care, Food & Beverage, Fashion/Clothing)
  • Ability to strategize and execute on growing a strong social media presence with high engagementStrong visual and writing skills
  • Highly creative with experience identifying target audiences and creating content that engages, informs, and motivates
  • Experience with graphic and video editing a plus
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing and measurement
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to take photos and video on your phone
