Job Description

Position Summary

The Social Media Marketing Analyst is responsible for overseeing social media, inbound marketing, and the build and management of PDG’s marketing presence. This role will grow and retain company followers converting them into leads, customers, and trusted client promoters of PDG.

The Social Media Marketing Analyst will work directly with the Senior Leadership team. This role will be responsible for optimizing lead generation and automating processes while aiding in the content generation to drive traffic using our social network presence. The Social Media Marketing Analyst must be a creative and critical thinker with extensive experience using HubSpot software.

Applicants for this role will be expected to share an example of social media marketing: blogging, personal website, Twitter feed, and/or writing samples).

This is a full-time, W2, 100% remote role with occasional/minimal travel to PDG Corporate Offices located in Malvern, PA.


Education and Professional Experience

The Social Media Marketing Analyst:

  • A professional degree in a relevant area
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Media Marketing Analyst role
  • Demonstrated social media marketing presence, have a command of best practices and trends in social media marketing
  • Extensive experience using HubSpot for marketing and CRM
  • Adobe Creative Suite – ability to manipulate graphics – preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • A proven track record of effectively working with clients and cross-functional teams


The Social Media Marketing Analyst:

  • Develops Social Media Content: Creates shareable content appropriate for specific networks to both spread our brand and our content and links.
  • Builds Social Media Presence: Builds and manages the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Google+, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and potentially additional channels like Snapchat, Vine, etc.
  • Manages Promotions: Works with other internal teams to produce and distribute content, runs regular social promotions and campaigns and tracks success, conversations, and links posted through these and other channels.
  • Drives Traffic / Optimizes Marketing Automation: Drives consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence; optimizes marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
  • Seeks New Networking Opportunities: Explores new ways to engage and new social networks to reach our targeted audience
  • Manages Marketing Calendar: Oversees content and editorial calendar to our marketing including blog posts, ebooks, infographics, reports, webinars, whitepapers, etc.).
  • Actively Collaborates: Engages in brainstorming and discussion among leadership and sales team members, translating creative concepts into specific strategies and tactics that meet marketing objectives.
  • Optimizes Processes: Collaborates with the VP to identify processes, tools, standards, and best practices for Social Media and Marketing best practices.
  • Ensures Quality: Applies quality control editorial best practices to ensure that deliverables meet departmental quality standards prior to publishing.
  • Shares Knowledge and Skills / Consults: Assists team members in areas of personal strengths, contributing to collective knowledge and departmental documentation; act as a consultant to Leadership, Sales, and Media Design team to define marketing plans.
