As subject matter expert on social media, you will expand and lead a best-in-class social media program that brings Calix’s strong culture and campaigns to life across such channels as YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram working cross-functionally across Marketing, Sales Enablement, Content, Community, PR and/or other related collaborative teams.
To achieve your goal, you will lead, develop, and scale internal advocacy and social selling programs based on customer insights and product needs, enhancing Calix Cloud’s social presence to achieve growth objectives. This will include coaching (train the trainer) and development skills, taking a critical thought leadership role both from an internal and external perspective, and working closely with your sales colleagues to implement territory-specific programs.
In this role, you will also support brand campaigns and initiatives, such as loyalty programs, virtual events, demand generation, social selling initiatives, and partnerships. You will work alongside campaign and product marketing colleagues to maintain a unique brand voice and aesthetic that considers the differing roles of each social media channel. You will also collaborate with the creative team (i.e., copywriters, graphic artists, photographers) on social media content.
Additionally, you will lead tracking, and measurement across various social platforms to turn social measurement into insights and create actionable, data-backed reports, compile results, and provide recommendations. It will be important to stay informed about industry trends, brand perception, positive/negative sentiment, with an eye on the social landscape, as well as identify key contacts, and social listening within key communities. Also, you will manage Agency relationships, which may also focus around Ambassador and Influencer programs
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years’ experience in social media management leading a center of excellence; empowering scrums, with a heavy enablement background. A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required. The successful candidate will be a strategic and creative leader able to collaborate and lead social media education across a sales organization thirsty for knowledge. This self-motivated collaborator will be results- and goal-oriented and enjoy working from a “Work from Anywhere” culture. You must possess excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and stakeholders.
