The Indirect Channel Manager will be responsible for supporting all third party Outside Sales resellers. This individual should be a self-starter with a previous track record of successful selling to businesses, sales training, sales enablement, and coaching. The Indirect Channel Manager role will work as a sales support mechanism by facilitating solutions to needs, wants, and challenges with the appropriate groups internally and externally, along with providing trainings, coaching, enablement to the sales teams in the field. This individual will act as a player/coach by spending time with leadership as well as sales reps in the field to maximize the success of this channel. The Indirect Channel Manager will be expected to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Ooma Office and actively teach and demonstrate product knowledge along with the sales behaviors necessary for success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support day to day functions of all 3rd party sales teams.
  • Facilitate communications between 3rd party sales teams, customer support, and installers.
  • Assist with customer questions, issues, and escalations.
  • Lead all coaching, training, and sales enablement for all 3rd party sales vendors
  • Support 3rd party sales teams in real time on deals as required.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

Demonstrated leadership, organization, discipline and focus in a business sales environment. Strong communicator who can be a mediator between multiple departments and vendors as well as the ability to coach team members, in real time, on how to be successful in selling Ooma. Ability to operate independently in a fast-pace, high performing organization. Prior experience with VoIP and supporting channel partners in selling to end customers.
