InHealth is one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers and we deliver our services from over 300 locations across the UK.

We are recruiting for a Head of Operations to oversee our MRI teams within Upright Scanning and London Mobiles. This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. National travel will be part of this role as we have sites in London, Birmingham and Leeds. A company car or car allowance will be provided.

What will being a Head of Operations with InHealth involve?

As Head of Operations you will lead and develop the Upright MRI and London Mobile MRI teams to deliver high-quality imaging services to both patients and referrers. You will ensure company and divisional goals are achieved across a range of mobile and static sites through the UK. You will lead on business development for the Upright MRI scanning sites and increase the InHealth presence across the UK, delivering growth in line with budget and targets.

What are the key responsibilities for this role?

• Developing and implementing operational plans in conjunction with the relevant Director
• Monitoring the performance of staff and ensuring adherence with Company’s policies and procedures
• Setting of objectives and appraisals, personal development plans and 1-2-1 meetings
• Leading on business development opportunities ensuring growth is delivered
• Ensuring robust account management of all current referrers, NHS trusts and CCG’s
• Minimising all expenditure where possible without causing operational or clinical difficulties
• Investigating all incidents and/or complaints, identifying trends and agreeing/implementing appropriate actions
• Ensuring the department complies with all CQC independent standards and legislation
• Producing daily, weekly and monthly reports as requested by Director of Operations

What skills and experience will you need to apply?

• Clinical knowledge and experience of Radiography
• Ability to increase awareness and profitability of a service
• Experience managing budgets and a P&L
• Ability to prioritise tasks and delegate appropriately
• Demonstratable appreciation of patient care
• Desire to engage and motivate team members
• Full UK driving licence
