Job Description

As a Content Moderator for one of our largest gaming partners, you will help to make sure that players can have a positive experience on that partner’s online platforms. You do this by reviewing images and text from the platform that were reported by other players, or flagged automatically, for inappropriate content. Besides reviewing content, you will also be given the chance to interact with the community directly by providing chat-based support and guidance.

During your work as a Content Moderator, it will be your responsibility to make sure that the community that you moderate is a friendly and inclusive place for all its members. You’ll use your maturity and insights to apply our partner’s content policy fairly and in accordance with the training that you’ll receive.

  • Who is comfortable reviewing questionable, inappropriate, and offensive content?
  • Who maintains an objective point of view, no matter the situation?
  • Who is open-minded and aware of your own biases, and able to apply content guidelines to all content equally, regardless of your personal opinions?
  • Who enjoys knowing exactly what is expected of you, and who follows instructions and established guidelines very well?
  • Who loves online gaming and keeps up to date on current news and trends in the online communities that you are a part of?
  • Who works work at a consistent pace and who achieves consistent quality in your work?

Job requirements

  • You know English at a C2 level (certificate not required).
  • You are available to work full time.
  • You have excellent written communication skills.
  • You consider yourself to be a mature and emotionally stable person.
  • You are a quick learner who can easily adapt to new processes & guidelines.
  • You have a dedicated workspace within your own home.

PC requirements:

  • An internet speed minimum of 1 Mb/s download and 0,5 Mb/s upload internationally.
  • A minimum of 6 GB RAM memory
  • Your computer should run at least a 64-bit version of Windows 8 or newer, or a recently released version of macOS
  • A Core i5 processor (2,8 GHz or faster), or better/ similar, max. 3 years old.
  • A screen with at least 1080p Full HD display. External monitors are acceptable.
  • A smartphone usable for two-factor authentication that runs at least:
  • Android 4.4 or newer
  • Apple iOS 10.0 or newer
