Job Description

Prezi is a visual communications platform that’s helping people make better decisions by reinventing how they share knowledge, tell stories, and inspire their audiences.

We’re looking for an Associate Content Editor to join the business content track on the Editorial team. This team is building Prezi into a top content destination that helps users engage in more meaningful conversations around the topics that are important to them through content that educates, informs, and inspires.

This individual will write and build email campaigns; track data to inform our content strategy; assist with outreach to business thought leaders and influencers, and use their editorial judgment to feature and showcase leaders who are creating quality Prezi video content.

The Associate Content Editor will be part of the Marketing function and will be able to work remotely. The team is based in San Francisco. This person will report to Prezi’s Managing Editor, Lorraine Lee.

As Associate Content Editor, you will…

  • Write and build out email campaigns that strengthen Prezi’s brand; drive product usage; and grow monthly active users; Write and copy edit Prezi video headlines for content that gets featured on our Explore Page
  • Research the latest business trends to inform the team’s editorial calendar for business users
  • Work with data scientists to analyze our content campaigns to test new ways to engage new and existing users
  • Assist with outreach to business thought leaders and influencers to build out Prezi’s content library
  • Use your news and business judgment to select top Prezi content to feature across our various channels, including our Explore Page, blog and social media
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What we’re looking for…

  • Top-notch writing and editing skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • A strong understanding of trends and topics being discussed in the business world
  • Ability to work under and stick to deadlines
  • Experience working with web-based CMS tools to upload and arrange content
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with teams including brand communications, visual design, and data.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit that allows you to adapt to changing company needs and jump into new projects with ease
  • 1-2+ years of relevant experience in an editorial or content role

Nice to have…

  • BA/BS degree in journalism, communications or a related field
  • Interest in visual communications software and how to leverage it to help people communicate better
  • Familiarity with Prezi Next, Prezi Video, and Prezi Design
